PRO ASYL Foundation

The PRO ASYL Foun­da­ti­on was foun­ded in 2002. Its aim is to finan­ce refu­gee and human rights work on a long-term basis. It enables its major donors to sus­tain­ab­ly secu­re their com­mon com­mit­ment to an out­ward-loo­king socie­ty, based on fair­ness and solidarity.

The PRO ASYL Foun­da­ti­on finan­ces medi­um and long-term pro­jects on refu­gees – ran­ging from the docu­men­ta­ti­on of human rights vio­la­ti­ons in Greece or Hun­ga­ry to pro­vi­ding scho­lar­ships for refu­gee children.

The human rights pri­ze of the PRO ASYL Foun­da­ti­on sends a signal to the gene­ral public. With its annu­al­ly award­ed PRO ASYL Hand, our Foun­da­ti­on encou­ra­ges and hono­urs public figu­res who have been pro­mi­nent in defen­ding human rights and pro­tec­ting refugees.
