They wan\u00adted to coun\u00adter\u00adact the right\u00adwing, racist inci\u00adte\u00adment to ill fee\u00adling against asyl\u00adum see\u00adkers and to cam\u00adpaign for the pro\u00adtec\u00adtion of vic\u00adtims of per\u00adse\u00adcu\u00adti\u00adon. The\u00adse con\u00adcerns are just as urgent today.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Our work is made pos\u00adsi\u00adble by our many spon\u00adsors, donors and Foun\u00adda\u00adti\u00adon mem\u00adbers. Thanks to their sup\u00adport we are poli\u00adti\u00adcal\u00adly and finan\u00adci\u00adal\u00adly inde\u00adpen\u00addent. It is important for PRO ASYL to main\u00adtain clo\u00adse con\u00adnec\u00adtions with a strong demo\u00adcra\u00adtic, huma\u00adni\u00adta\u00adri\u00adan and human rights-ori\u00aden\u00adted civil socie\u00adty. And every year more and more peo\u00adp\u00adle sup\u00adport our work for refugees.<\/p>\n

The work of PRO ASYL has recei\u00adved many awards: the Bon\u00adhoef\u00adfer Pri\u00adze in 1998, the Aachen Peace Pri\u00adze in 2001, the Theo\u00addor Heuss Medal in 2008, the spe\u00adcial award of the Osna\u00adbr\u00fcck Peace Pri\u00adze in 2011 and the G\u00f6t\u00adtin\u00adgen Peace Pri\u00adze in 2012.[\/vc_column_text][asvce-important-link link=\u201eurl:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.proasyl.de%2Fen%2Fdonate|title:Donate%20now|target:%20_blank\u201c][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

It is made up of mem\u00adbers of refu\u00adgee coun\u00adcils, churches, trade uni\u00adons, human rights orga\u00adni\u00adsa\u00adti\u00adons and wel\u00adfa\u00adre asso\u00adcia\u00adti\u00adons for the pro\u00adtec\u00adtion of refu\u00adgees and per\u00adse\u00adcu\u00adted per\u00adsons. It foun\u00added the sup\u00adport asso\u00adcia\u00adti\u00adon in 1988.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The PRO ASYL F<\/strong>oun\u00adda\u00adti\u00adon<\/strong><\/a> enables tho\u00adse sup\u00adport\u00ading the work for refu\u00adgees to place it on a sus\u00adtainable basis through endo\u00adwing it with sub\u00adstan\u00adti\u00adal gifts or legacies.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Refu\u00adgee coun\u00adcils<\/a> <\/strong>are our coope\u00adra\u00adti\u00adon part\u00adners at the level of the Ger\u00adman fede\u00adral sta\u00adtes.
