In Greece we laun\u00adched an aid pro\u00adject to pro\u00adtect and recei\u00adve refu\u00adgee minors. The\u00adre fol\u00adlo\u00adwed a docu\u00admen\u00adta\u00adti\u00adon of push-backs in Greek-Tur\u00adki\u00adsh bor\u00adder are\u00adas. By phy\u00adsi\u00adcal\u00adly pushing boats back, the Greek coast\u00adguard was vio\u00adla\u00adting human rights \u2013 and also using bru\u00adte force. In addi\u00adti\u00adon, they expe\u00adri\u00adence bla\u00adtant racism, which is now spre\u00ada\u00adding in many Euro\u00adpean count\u00adries. PRO ASYL inves\u00adti\u00adga\u00adtes the situa\u00adti\u00adon on the ground and docu\u00adments inci\u00addents, e.g. in Bul\u00adga\u00adria, whe\u00adre refu\u00adgees are expo\u00adsed to tor\u00adtu\u00adre, inhu\u00adman and degra\u00adding tre\u00adat\u00adment, and theft.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The Ger\u00adman govern\u00adment has over\u00adnight declared various Bal\u00adkan sta\u00adtes to be safe count\u00adries of ori\u00adgin. Sin\u00adce then, peo\u00adp\u00adle coming to Ger\u00adma\u00adny from the\u00adse regi\u00adons have had hard\u00adly any chan\u00adce of recei\u00adving pro\u00adtec\u00adtion. The ones suf\u00adfe\u00adring most are Roma and other eth\u00adnic mino\u00adri\u00adties expo\u00adsed to repres\u00adsi\u00adon in their home count\u00adries. And yet the situa\u00adti\u00adon of mino\u00adri\u00adties in the Bal\u00adkans is known in offi\u00adci\u00adal quar\u00adters.
