Austria: Participation of Asylum Seekers

The ICF project on the situation of asylum seekers explores the extent to which asylum seekers can determine and participate in decision-making processes in their places of accommodation.

JRS Dispatches: Germany – Situation of detainees in need of improvement

The Jesuit Refugee Service International Office reports, that on 16 May, a group of 12 German NGOs, including JRS Germany, called on the state to improve the situation of detainees awaiting deportation from the country.

AGI on behalf of the Italian Prime Minister's office reports, that the EU needs to be informed whenever a member state gives amnesty to illegal immigrants on its territory, Commissioner Frattini has reiterated.
